Shamed the Nepal Under 19s Sven?

They, at least, got out of their group.

Could have sworn I watched root hit a half century today, unless you're talking about a different game!

Re: 4th Test: South Africa v England at Centurion
Rain permitting

I have no idea.
Australia are in for a tough time. Which is what they need after a fairly dull home summer of Tests and ODI's.
I see NZ as good preparation for future tours of England. I'd even like to see a NZ team in the Sheffield Shield for that purpose.

Re: 4th Test: South Africa v England at Centurion
You forgot Simon Jones , Matty
You haven't retired him have you?

Trescothick ? Unavailable due to lack of a time machine
Cook was dumped for being the ODI batting equivalent of Mick Lewis.
Broad, Anderson, Finn and Root were presumably dropped after having a World Cup that would have shamed Nepal u19's.

I'll put you down for a 2-1 series win and a 2-0 win in the tests then shall I Sven?

An England side missing Broad, Anderson, Finn, Cook, Trescothick and Root.

Shame it looks like the rain will end the ODI in S Africa just when it was getting interesting.
England will get the Duckworth Lewis verdict.

Re: 4th Test: South Africa v England at Centurion
It's an ODI. One ODI in a sea of international cricket matches.
You were the better team on the day and you won.

In the last 11 months in ODI's Australia have won the World Cup, beaten England in England using about 4 of those players and then thrashed India 4-1 last month. I think they can endure a loss or two.

Bowled out in less than 25 overs.
Lost by 159 runs.
Didn't even turn the lights on.

One of your blokes reckoned there would be scores of 400.

Maybe if you bat twice.

Just catching up with this on the BBC site - they're doing 'embarrassing moments in front of a cricketer'

some guy has posted "I once told Mark Ramprakash that he had 100 more centuries than me, but I was only 2 behind in Tests. Wasn't impressed"

made me laugh

They appear to have bottled the current NZ tour too stewie.

They were gutless yesterday.

Probably wishing they'd gone to Bangladesh instead.

Loved the Bok faces in the crowd after that.

They didn't know whether to laugh, cry or applaud.
